Corrosion resistant titanium alloy

Due to the reason that pure titanium can not meet the corrosion resistance requirements under all conditions,corrosion-resistant titanium alloys are used to further improve corrosion resistance and service life, and can reduce costs.

Commonly used corrosion resistant titanium alloys are:  TA8,TA8-1,TA9,TA9-1,TA10,TA25 etc.

High temperature titanium alloy  

The world's first high-temperature titanium alloy is Ti-6Al-4V,used at the temperature of 300-350 °C. Subsequently, alloys such as IMI550 and BT3-1 with a temperature of 400 ° C were used, and alloys such as IMI 679, IMI 685, Ti-6246, and Ti-6242 at a temperature of 450 to 500 ° C were used. The new high-temperature titanium alloys that have been successfully applied in aircraft engines include the IMI829 and IMI834 alloys in the United Kingdom, the Ti-1100 alloy in the United States, and the BT18Y and BT36 alloys in Russia.

Low temperature titanium alloy

Low temperature titanium alloys are divided into α titanium alloy, β titanium alloy and α-β titanium alloy, commonly used alloys are Ti-5Al-2.5Sn ELI and Ti-6Al-4V ELI. It requires good strength, plasticity and toughness in ultra-low temperature environments such as liquid hydrogen, liquid oxygen, liquid helium, liquid nitrogen, etc., and good formability is required for preparation.

High strength titanium alloy

Aviation, aerospace, marine, oil drilling and other industries need to use lightweight, corrosion-resistant, high-strength titanium alloys.Through the special production process, the strength of the titanium alloy can reach above 1100Mpa. Typical high strength titanium alloys:Ti-1023 developed by America, TB10 alloy by China,BT22 by Russia ect.

Titanium aluminum intermetallic compound alloy

Titanium aluminum intermetallic compound alloy with low density, good heat resistance,high specific strength,high stiffness and high resistance to high temperature creep and oxidation, it is the ideal material for ultra-high speed aircraft and advanced aero engines.   

Special titanium alloy

Special titanium alloys are including: shape memory titanium alloy,new hydrogen storage alloy, constant elastic titanium alloy, low expansion titanium alloy, high resistance titanium alloy, titanium alloy for getter, anti-ballistic titanium alloy, sound-permeable titanium alloy, etc.

Low cost titanium alloy

Low cost titanium alloy including:Titanium alloy containing no or less precious metals,  or the alloy made from titanium scrap,titanium steel composite plates etc.
